Nails should always be filed when dry to insure smooth edges. Place the nail file under the nail edge and file in one direction only.
Cleaning Instructions: Put nail file under running water and brush the grit surfaces lightly. Can be immersed in 70-90% isopropyl or ethyl alcohol for 5 minutes. Pat dry and allow to air dry for 24 hours before re-use. Be sure to check with your local, state and federal regulations regarding proper sanitation laws if using this product in a salon.

I notice no defects in use or appearance of these mini files. The grit is as fine as advertised, and it works very well for how I need to use it. It's a good disposable alternative to a glass file.

When I make sample packs for my business, I think it's nice to have a personal-sized nail file in them, instead of cutting cheap emery boards in half. However, given the price of miniature nail files, I thought I was going to have to stop. Then I found this!
These files are about the length of the palm of my hand and much better quality than what you'll find in "Box of Files" or matchbooks of tiny files, and they're so much less expensive per piece! I'm absolutely thrilled with these and will be reordering whenever necessary!
